Description:
We begin with a short reading or story, followed by a brief relaxation and the Loving Kindness Meditation, which is a gently guided meditation in loving kindness for oneself, for one’s beloveds, strangers, enemies, and all beings. We close with a brief song or poem from a participant who volunteers to share. No prior experience needed. This practice has its origins in the Buddha’s teaching on loving kindness for all beings, but our group members come from various faiths or none. All are welcome.
